The Japan Foundation Los Angeles, in partnership with our New York and Toronto offices, now offers public access to our digital library system via Libby. To apply, kindly fill out the form provided at the link below. Applicants must be 14 years or older. Confirmation emails will be sent every Wednesday evening, containing instructions on how to log in to the system and begin borrowing digital books on your mobile device or computer. To Sign Up for a Libby Digital Library Account, please follow the link below and complete the survey. You will not receive notification until the following Wednesday by 6:30PM PT.
After submitting the survey form, please note that confirmation emails are not sent immediately. Typically, we send these once a week on Wednesdays by 6:30 PM Pacific Time. The cutoff time for submissions is 5:30 PM. If you have any inquiries or wish to verify that your form was received, please contact us and select Libby from the dropdown menu!
If you lost your login or password, please contact us and select Libby from the drop down list. Do NOT register again for a new account.
To locate our digital library on the Libby app, search for "Japan Foundation" listed under JF Toronto's address at 2 Bloor St E, STE 300, Toronto, Ontario, CA. Even if you belong to a different digital library, you will require a library card number from us to log in and borrow our books. Please note, we are not associated with any other library on Libby.
