JLPT Host InstitutionS Alliance in the United States

We are pleased to announce an exciting new membership exclusively for institutions administering the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) in the United States.

For years we have supported a number of JLPT host institutions as members of the Sakura Network, providing resources to enhance Japanese language education. In our continued commitment to supporting Japanese language programs, we are launching a new membership exclusively for JLPT host institutions in the United States. This new framework will allow for more dynamic and responsive operations, ensuring that support aligns more closely with the specific needs of JLPT-administering schools.

The benefits previously available to Sakura Network members will be maintained, including access to our project grants. Additionally, we will facilitate regular opportunities for members to exchange insights and address shared challenges through in-person meetings held every few years, supplemented by online discussions as needed.

Furthermore, we aim to enhance the visibility of JLPT administration to foster greater engagement within the Japanese language education community.
