Curry rice is considered one of Japan’s national dishes and loved by Japanese people of all ages. Currently, there are restaurants specializing in Japanese curry outside Japan, for example, the United States and even India, where curry is originally from. One of the reasons why Japanese curry rice is loved all over the world is due to the fact that flavors and toppings can be varied and evolve into “curry rice” that is unique to each area.
For this lecture, we will have Kazuhiro Ono give us his insights on why Japanese curry rice is loved not only in Japan but all over the world.
