Do you want to brush up your Japanese?  Do you want to use your Japanese in a professional way? This fall 2016 term, JF Nihongo will offer a new course series.  This course series is designed for experienced learners who would like to improve their language skills at an advanced level.

Each course focuses on a specific theme such as discussions in Japanese or keigo (honorific language).  The courses are aimed for those at the B1 or B2 level* and consist of a concise set of three meetings (once a week for three weeks).

Tuition: $90**
**All applicants are eligible for a 10% Early Bird Discount if you register by September 10.
 Past students are also eligible for an additional 10% Past Student Discount on tuition.

Discussions in Japanese
sep. 24-Oct. 8

In this course, you will develop the skill to describe a wide range of general topics in detail, give your opinions regarding these topics, and exchange opinions effectively with others to develop the discussion in a group.

Prerequisites

You must be able to understand instructions that are only in Japanese.  You must be able to read a simple article and give your opinion about it.

Goal: B2 level*

At the end of the course, successful learners will:

  • Be able to use the language fluently on a wide range of topics
  • Be able to develop a clear description, expanding and supporting your main point
  • Be able to keep up with and contribute to group discussions
  • Be able to read a newspaper editorial and understand new information
