Accepting Applications Now

The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles, offers a free School Program designed to give students a fun and informative introduction to Japanese culture and traditions. It is approximately 90 minutes long and is available Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays between 10 am and 4 pm. This program is not available on weekends and holidays.

Handcrafted Form
Traditions and Techniques

Thursday, July 11, 2013 to Wednesday, August 21, 2013

On Thursday, July 11, 2013, The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles (JFLA) will host the opening reception of Handcrafted Form, a world-traveling exhibition of hand-crafted objects made by traditional master artisans of Japan, in partnership with the nearby Craft and Folk Art Museum (CAFAM). The exhibition will run for six weeks until Wednesday, August 21. There will be no charge to see this exhibit at any venue.
